On April 13th, Vice President Dong Qi received the delegation of IPN, led by the General Director Prof. Yoloxochitl Bustamante at Yifu Building, accompanied by Mr. Rolando Garcia-Alonso, Consul General of Mexico in Shanghai.

During the meeting, both sides talked out the history and current situation of both universities, and discussed respective preponderant disciplines and possible areas of cooperation. Vice President Dong Qi emphasized that, Tongji University paid great attention to the cooperation with Latin American countries and hoped to strengthen the communication with the Spanish-speaking countries. The two parties reached agreement in many areas and would like to have substantial exchanges and cooperation as soon as possible.
